The excursion will depart from the meeting venue on August 26th in the morning and will end at the Tancredo Neves International (CNF) Airport on August 30th. The expected time of arrival at the airport is 18:00h.

 

For the field trip, only 40 spots will be offered to the attendants. Each bus must have at least 15 people.

 

Travel expenses for the post-conference field trip are not included in the registration fee. The registration fees are US 350,00 and includes transport, accommodation, all meals (breakfasts, lunches and dinners), and fees for park visitation.

 

Registration will close on August 14th.

 

Programme

August 26th – Arrival at Cardeal Mota, Santana do Riacho. Check-in in the hotel, lunch and field trip. Main attractions: campo rupestre, hilltop forests and semideciduous Atlantic Forest vegetation. Several leisure options during the night.

August 27th – Check-out and more field work in the morning. Lunch and departure to Diamantina. Check-in at night. Main attractions: campo rupestre, cerrado and fragments of Atlantic Forest vegetation. Cultural activities in the historical center.

August 28th – Check-out and visit to the Biribiri State Park. Lunch and departure to Rio Preto State Park. Main attractions: campo rupestre and cerrado, waterfalls.

August 29th – Full-day tour in the Rio Preto State Park. Main attractions: campo rupestre, and cerrado vegetation, several waterfalls.

August 30th – Short visit to gallery forests and early return to the Airport. Expected time of arrival at the airport is 17:00.
